Aaron Rodgers’ Quarantine Beard is Better Than Yours

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is having an interesting offseason. He came off a 13-3 season where there were some doubters, but most people liked where the team was going. Then, Green Bay drafted a quarterback when everyone thought that a receiver was the play. This led to multiple weeks of ridiculous media stories that made Rodgers sound like he belonged on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Now, things calmed down and Rodgers has done a little media here and there. He appeared in conjunction with PGA Tour to introduce Max Homa this morning. Rodgers’ beard was majestic and better than any beard I’ve seen him rock during the last 15 years.

Rodgers’ intro was perfect too. You know that he is an avid ‘Happy Gilmore’ and tried to channel his inner Verne Lundquist when he made that intro for Homa. Rodgers did a great job. If Jerry Kelly doesn’t play at next year’s Pebble, Homa has to be Rodgers’ guy instead right? Both Cal guys, both similar personalities, and seemingly friends. All the pieces fit there for the Packers quarterback.
We’ll see if Rodgers decides to keep the beard for training camp or goes down to clean cut.
Charlie.
