Alabama Wins An College Football Classic

Last year, Alabama lost at the last moment to Clemson in a memorable game with Deshaun Watson finding Hunter Renfrow in the end zone. This would sit with the Tide all season, and after they snuck into the College Football Playoff, Alabama saw themselves down 13-0 at halftime to Georgia. Nick Saban made the ballsy move to pull Jalen Hurts and go with freshman quarterback Tua Tagovailoa. The young freshmen would help force overtime, and even after a potentially heartbreaking field goal miss, Tua found another freshman to win the game in overtime.
What a game. What a finish.

It’s hard to believe this happened on Monday night. Alabama trailed for most of the game and found a way to find the game. They kept coming back against Georgia. Jake Fromm played really well in a freshman losing effort, but it ended up not being enough for Georgia as they blew two different 13 point leads. That’s going hurt for awhile. Considering the fact Georgia had a couple chances to extend the lead especially after getting an interception only to give it right back then set up an Alabama field goal. Dawgs fans will be living with this one for awhile, although with two more years of Fromm, they might have a shot.
As for Bama, they’re going to keep coming with Tua at quarterback. He’s going to be the man next season, and they’re going to be the team to beat once again.
