Alex Lasry Should Not Get A Single Vote After His Broom Emoji Tweet

There are many things that could be pointed to as to why the Milwaukee Bucks lost the series against the Boston Celtics. Three-point shooting is by far the biggest one. But one that needs to be considered that isn’t getting enough play is Alex Lasry, the Bucks owner’s son and U.S. Senate candidate who tweeted out the broom emojis after the Milwaukee Bucks won Game 1 of the NBA Conference Semifinals. He should not get one ounce of support from the general public for not understanding how karma and basketball series work.

Does this guy understand how basketball works? Even if the Bucks were favored, there was a snowball’s chance in hell that the Bucks were sweeping the Boston Celtics. Both teams were really good. While it’s a ‘fun’ tweet I guess, it’s put this presumptive hex on us going forward. Let’s just hope that Papa Lasry, aka Marc, does not decide to hand it over to his son because if that does happen, we’re looking at the next Jimmy Buss or James Dolan.
We’ll see how Lasry’s campaign goes with the Wisconsin primary election. With some of the political ads I’ve seen, I assumed the vote was happening in the coming weeks but no, it’s fucking August. Do you mean we have all summer to watch political ads? That might be worse than the Bucks losing last night. Lasry seems over his skis in this election. He is barely a Wisconsin resident and is now trying to run for one of the highest seats in the federal government. Almost sounds like a passion project for a rich kid versus something that can actually happen. Lasry would have been better off doing a campaign for local politics versus running for a federal position.
Let’s hope we all learned our lesson about the broom emojis.
Charlie.
