To give you an inside baseball look at my life on a regular day, I wake up around 5 ot 6 pending on how many blogs I have to put out before I head to the gym then work. I woke up this morning and as I’m scrolling through Twitter, I see Adrian Wojnarowski drop the biggest WojBomb of the season saying Anthony Davis will not sign the SuperMax and wants out of New Orleans. Davis continues the weeklong dickpunch for New Orleans’ sports fans, and now, the race is on to see if Davis gets moved by February 7th. If that’s the case, I say he can stay in the Western Conference.

It’s likely that Davis could be a member of the Boston Celtics this summer. That’s fine, and it does bring a sense of urgency to this season for teams like Milwaukee, Toronto and Philadelphia. But summer means that it will be a next season problem. Davis cannot get acquired by Boston this year thanks to the ‘Rose Rule’, so, they’re out of the running. This is a move likely made by Davis’ agent Rich Paul, one of LeBron James’ best friends, to give Los Angeles a chance to trade for Davis prior to the deadline to beat out Boston. Will it happen? I’m sure the Lakers will be calling in today.

Los Angeles would be fine. Davis can stay out West, and Bucks can worry about other things in the East. The only team worth worrying about in this situation is Philadelphia. Bill Simmons and Zach Lowe mentioned the terrifying thought of trading Ben Simmons for AD among other things in the mix. Raptors, Indiana Pacers and Bucks do not have the pieces for a guy like Davis. Here’s the fake trade for the Bucks, and the assets do not match up. Pelicans are going to want a star back and Middleton + Bledsoe are not those guys.

I saved you all the hassle, Bucks' fans. This trade matches for salary purposes.
However, Bucks would add anyone not named Gianiss to the deal.
However, however, they don't have enough assets to come anywhere close to a deal for AD so don't get your hopes up. pic.twitter.com/Eio2JTgWXi
