Beasley Goes Down With A Knee Injury

When Milwaukee Bucks rolled into Cleveland tonight, Michael Beasley was the hottest Milwaukee Bucks player to go down with an injury. Beasley went down in a heap after dropping eleven early points against Cavaliers. Bucks reported he had a knee sprain, which is a type of injury that makes Bucks fans cringe as that’s the designation they gave Jabari Parker. Fans fear the worst for Beasley. This sucks as he’s one of the best parts of this Milwaukee season, and as an upcoming free agent, you hate to see something like this happen.
If this knee sprain proves to be a multiple week injury or Beasley is out of the season, who becomes the guy? Milwaukee should look at a potential buyout candidate in the coming days. It’s not for a playoff run per say, rather, a reliable scorer off the bench. My guess is Derrick Williams will return to Cleveland Cavaliers, but if they push him out for Deron Williams and potentially Andrew Bogut, the former Arizona product might become available. Right now, Bucks don’t have that option without Beas. This opens up more chances for Thon Maker, but he gets in foul trouble like an overactive puppy. It also could be time for Spencer Hawes, but I’m not sure how he can work with Greg Monroe.
We’ll await the verdict on the former number two pick, but it’s probably not the news we are going to want to hear as Bucks fans. Maybe, it will turn out well for Milwaukee as they need his scoring and energy.
Charlie.
