Bobby Portis Doesn’t Believe What P.J. Tucker Is Selling

Milwaukee Bucks get ready to take on the Miami Heat tonight. This will be the Bucks’ first road game, and the Heat will be playing for the first time all season. There is a lot of reasons for Heat fans to be excited about this season. The development of Tyler Herro. Bam Adebayo continuing to get better. And then the additions of Kyle Lowry and P.J. Tucker. Miami has its sights set on a championship. But the Milwaukee Bucks get their way. P.J. likely gets his ring tonight from Milwaukee, but he had a lot of choice words about his departure.
P.J. Tucker says he circled bucks game on his calendar

Tucker is unsure why the Bucks let him go. He feels like there should have been more there. My guess is Milwaukee was ready to pay for him and value when Tucker demanded more money. Which is okay might I add. You were a key part of a championship. It makes sense to ask for more money. But then when the team disagrees considering you’re an old, negative offensive player, you shouldn’t get mad. From all accounts, he did not like living in Milwaukee either, so, this is extra odd. Bobby Portis was not buying it on Twitter yesterday.

This isn’t beef, rather, Portis calling him out on his bullshit. That’s exactly what this is. Tucker is being overly dramatic here. Remember, Portis is getting paid less money this year than Tucker. I understand that Portis is younger and will have other contracts come around yet he did it to remain on the team. P.J. did not do that. It will be weird seeing Tucker but hope the Bucks kick his ass.
