Brewers-Cubs Wisconsin Presale Makes Little Sense
Milwaukee Brewers will once again be selling Brewers-Cubs tickets to Wisconsin residents only starting today at 9:00 am. For those who want to see Brewers-Cubs, buy tickets if you’d like, but at the end of the day, Miller Park is still going to be filled with northsider wannabes who cannot afford to get into Wrigley Field. You have to take your medicine in these sort of games and realize it’s going to be a 50/50 split. This presale does not help tip the scales in the Brewers’ favor, rather, it’s a marketing technique to get people to know the Brewers tried to keep Cubs fans out of the stadium.
Any claims that this presale is an attempt to prevent Cubs fans from getting Brewers tickets are⦠well, pretty accurate, actually.
The presale begins tomorrow at 9am CT. Details: https://t.co/qJjhicT3OY pic.twitter.com/OpdmrnOcZL

The tactic is a flawed one for a variety reasons. One, you have a ton of Cubs fans who live in Milwaukee and the surrounding areas. My buddy Fant, Cubs fan living in Milwaukee, could scoop up three or four games with ease and not have to worry about other people interfering with him getting the seats that he wanted. Two, these tickets find their way on StubHub and SeatGeek because some people don’t actually have fandom, they would rather make money. Those people are assholes and hate them yet respect their hustle. Three, there are so many Brewers fans that don’t want to deal with asshole fans on each side of the aisle. Brewers-Cubs fan fights happen far too often, so, there’s no reason to go to Miller Park.
We’ll see if we ever get Brewers-Cubs split that is in Milwaukee’s favor.
Charlie.
