Brewers’ Reenactment of The Sandlot is Everything

The Sandlot is one of the best sports movies of all-time. Not many people are put it outside their top five or top ten of sports movies. It resonates with people because the overall, good fun. After teasing a weeks ago, Milwaukee made their own version to celebrate its 25th anniversary and the results were fantastic. They nailed this from start to finish with perfect looks for all of the players. The selection of players worked out too with Christian Yelich as Benny ‘The Jet’ Rodriguez and Stephen Vogt plays an impeccable version of Hamilton Porter. It’s all truly great.

Real question is with the success of this video… Are we going to see more videos like this one from the Brewers? Why stop with just Sandlot? You might as well move on to Major League, Field of Dreams and other baseball movies throughout the years. It’s good to see Milwaukee can have fun like this with their team. With how this thing went crazy viral early on, it’s likely that we’re going to see other teams run similar versions in the coming weeks. But let’s remember, that the Brewers did it first. Good to see the guys have some fun in Arizona.
