Bucks Are Shipping Off to Boston

As you might know already, your Milwaukee Bucks will be playing against Boston in the first round of the Eastern Conference finals. This is the first time the two clubs are meeting each other in the postseason for the first time since 1987. Bucks-Celtics had a fierce rivalry in the 80’s, but as both teams struggled in the 90’s, it did not sprawl out into the last few decades. It’s a series that some Bucks fans wanted when Wednesday began.
I don’t think anyone expected Milwaukee to lay an egg like they did versus Philadelphia, but it’s clear from a players’ perspective they did not want to play LeBron James. Even though they could have ended up as the eight seed, Milwaukee avoided it and ended up with the seventh seed to play a beat-up Boston team. They do not have Kyrie Irving or Marcus Smart, but they’ve keep the boat afloat since both absences. Al Horford will be an issue for this Milwaukee Bucks team as they don’t really have a guy to matchup with him down low.
Look forward to Giannis trying to put Baynes on a poster Sunday afternoon.
Charlie.
