Oh boy. Milwaukee Bucks big three were in full force on Thursday night. Milwaukee completed a four-game West Coast swing at 3-1 with two dominating performances this week. Last night, they handled Portland with a 103-91 victory. It looks much closer than it actually was throughout this ball game. Khris Middleton, Eric Bledsoe and Giannis Antetokounmpo looked like the big three that people had hoped for earlier this month. The three of them scored 71 of the 103 points for Milwaukee. Yes, this team can still gets Jabari Parker back in February.

Bucks adjustments pay off in a big way
After an abysmal outing in Utah, Milwaukee changed up some things with how they manage their bench and the defense in general. Milwaukee responded holding Portland to 91 points tonight and Sacramento to 87. Both teams shot under 45 percent. Eric Bledsoe continues to give point guards fits on the perimeter. Jason Terry getting time in these last two games helps the second unit. He’s a floor general out there, and the guidance really helps the others. Malcolm Brogdon also looks more comfortable going back to the bench.

Eric Bledsoe’s impact has been stellar
Milwaukee is now 7-3 with Eric Bledsoe on the roster. The offensive and defensive ratings are only looking positive. Jon Horst made the correct move, and now, we’re starting to see these three form together to look fearsome. Tonight, Portland threw everything at Giannis, so, Khris and Eric took over the game. Middleton finished with 26 while Bledsoe had 25 with 17 coming in the first half. Bledsoe played a large part in Milwaukee pulling away in the second with a huge quarter.

John Henson did what he could against Nurkic
Let’s be real, it was a bad matchup all the way with Milwaukee facing off against Jusef Nurkic. But his night could have been a lot bigger on the rebounding side of things especially with how he started the game. Nurkic had seven rebounds in the first quarter then he was held to four for the remainder of the game. Sure, he got buckets with 27 points, but Henson plus company did their best against him for the other three quarters.

Milwaukee sees a familiar foe playing Sacramento for the second time in a week. Milwaukee cannot drop this game. Last thing you want is a hangover after two impressive victories. Not sure what the Kings will try on Saturday to stop Giannis. With the big three cooking, you figure the Bradley Center will be rocking this weekend.
