Bucks Buzz Vol. 4: Giannis & Jabari Steal The Show

Bucks Buzz is your daily recap on what happened in tonight’s Bucks game. The goal is to get to the fine Tappers by the night of, but sometimes, it comes the next day or in weekend recap form.
Players of the Game: Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jabari Parker (Bucks) – These two deserve to split the award tonight. This was the first time we’ve seen Milwaukee play at this level with their offense. Giannis had 24 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists. He had the big three to seal this game for Milwaukee including a great stank face. Jabari had his first 20 point game of the season with 21. People started to wonder ‘What’s wrong with him’ which was silly after a week, but it’s clear that Parker is just fine.
(Not) Player of the Game: John Henson (Bucks) – Not one of Henson’s best outings registering the big goose egg with four fouls committed and three turnovers. Anthony Davis and Pelicans big men were too much for Henson to handle tonight.
Player of the Game: Anthony Davis (Pelicans) – What more can you say about him that hasn’t been said already? Davis is on an amazing tear through the first week of the NBA season. He finished with 35 points and 15 rebounds. This sounds weird saying but that’s pretty good for Milwaukee given how much they have struggled against big men.
Positive – Six Bucks players found themselves in double figures tonight with Giannis, Jabari, Delly, Snelly, Malcolm Brogdon and Michael Beasley. Bucks’ offense found themselves tonight, and that’s a good thing. Hopefully, this is the start of things to come for this team.
Negative – There isn’t really much to bitch about from this game. The Miles Plumlee starting thing remains weird and ineffective but that’s about it.
