Bucks Buzz: Paint Domination Leads to Blowout Win

What a win for the Milwaukee Bucks. We all thought that Milwaukee may end up 1-1 with their games against Portland and Golden State. But most people expected the win to be in Portland, not Golden State. Milwaukee won in Golden State for the second straight year and in the second year, it happened in blowout fashion. Bucks won 134-111 in the most impressive victory of the year. Milwaukee had an amazing 84 points in the paint. 84!
Player of the Game: Eric Bledsoe – You know, I could have given it to Giannis Antetokounmpo, but Bledsoe deserves a big time kudos. He played really well tonight. Bledsoe finished with 26 points and six assists including tough defense on Steph Curry. Bledsoe held down both Damian Lillard and Curry this week. That’s impressive stuff.
Honorable Mention: Pat Connaughton – What a game from Planet Pat. He’s getting a major uptick in minutes over the past couple of games, and you can see why with him. Connaughton is an awesome bench player for Milwaukee. He had so many good plays in this game. Whether it was deep threes, back cuts, passes, he’s a joy to watch.
Thing I Like: Hard in the da paint – I love the fact Milwaukee scored 84 points in the paint. That’s an incredible number. How does that happen? This is sad, but I need to say it… I watched tonight and realized how bad of a matchup the Bucks are for Golden State in the NBA Finals. Trust me, they have no one to matchup with Giannis and can be dominated inside. I’ll go light myself on fire for even thinking this now.
Thing I didn’t like: I didn’t bet the moneyline – Brutal week of gambling for your boy. I had the Bucks +6 and should have just placed a couple coins on the moneyline as it was high. Yet I didn’t. Brutal night. We’ll try to climb out of the grave tomorrow.
Highlight of the night: Giannis makes Draymond’s jaw drop.

Next up: In the middle of college football, the Bucks will play a basketball game versus the Los Angeles Clippers. Personally, I’d rather have this one at night as the dessert to a long day of football, but I’ll deal with another main course. Clippers are scrappy, man. Giannis could have a field day against their wings though. They do not guard for shit. Same goes for Khris Middleton. Win this one and it’s SnoTap House Money on Sunday.
