Bucks Buzz: Toronto’s Torrid Third Sinks Milwaukee
Milwaukee Bucks were feeling good last night early on in the game. Bucks were up by nine points in the first half, and they looked in control yet again versus the Toronto Raptors. That didn’t last. Toronto started to heat up at the end of the first half and carried it over to third quarter. Raptors outscored the Bucks in the third quarter by 10 points and never looked back. Toronto gets their first win versus Milwaukee this season, and for the home team, it is only their fourth loss at home all season. Raptors and Bucks are now tied for the one seed in the Eastern Conference
Player of the Game: Giannis Antetokounmpo – What an MVP performance from Giannis. He scored 43 points, 18 rebounds and four assists. This was a mega game from Giannis. He put the team on his back and tried to ride it to the finish line. Obviously, it didn’t work for the Bucks, but Giannis gave his best effort. Antetokounmpo scored 18 points in the fourth quarter as he continues to shit all over Ryan Hollins’ non-clutch theory.
Silver Star: Pascal Siakam – If I’m Mike Budenholzer today, I’m wondering how the fuck did Pascal Siakam score 30 points? It’s simple. Way too much Ersan Ilyasova, but we’ll chat more about that on the Daily Tap. Siakam was a killer. You can get beat by Kawhi Leonard. Same with Serge Ibaka because that’s what he does versus Milwaukee but not Siakam. He had the dagger to officially put Milwaukee away in this one.
Positive: George Hill did a great job off the bench – I’m not officially comfortable with Hill, but he played really well in this game. Hill clocked a Bucks-high 28 minutes in this one and scored eleven points. He did a great job guiding the team offensively as well as his defense on the second-string perimeter group was superb. Hill is showing the Bucks coaching staff that he can be a factor for this team.
Negative: Khris still can’t figure out Kawhi – A growing issue for the Bucks against Toronto is Giannis goes to town but Khris Middleton gets completely burned by Leonard on both sides of the ball. Leonard dominated him defensively as Middleton did nothing with only 14 points. Then Kawhi went to work versus Midds when he had the ball having a team high 30 points and really getting anything he wanted last night.
Highlight of the day: Giannis making threes in the fourth makes me happy

Next up: Bucks stay home to play Utah on Monday night. This will be their third game in four nights. Same goes for Utah, but the Jazz have done it all on the road. Bucks had some huge problems with the Jazz last season, so, let’s hope things go better under the Bud era versus the Kidd era. Jazz haven’t been the same team either, although, they’ve been hot of late.
