Bucks Buzz Vol. 11: Miserable in Miami

All Milwaukee had to do was take a split of Atlanta and Miami, and they would be good heading back to Milwaukee for a matchup with Golden State. Instead, Bucks laid another egg with an abhorrent second half.
Player of the Game (Bucks): Michael Beasley – Super Cool Beas had the only solid game out of the bunch. Beasley finished with 13 points and 10 rebounds for his first double-double of the season. Beasley also did it in an effective manner making five of eleven shots. He’s probably the second-best player off Milwaukee’s bench. Beasley has been a bright spot in the first month of the year.
(Not) Player of the Game: Malcolm Brogdon – Pick your poison of who played the worst in this game. Giannis Antetokounmpo, Jabari Parker, Delly were all bad. But Brogdon also went 0-for-7 from the field. That’s not good. Milwaukee went ice cold in the second half and settled on jumpers instead of layup’s.
Player of the Game (Heat): Dion Waiters – Yooooo how about Erik Spolestra turning Dion Waiters into a quality basketball player? That’s incredible. He had 23 points and seven rebounds. Waiters always had an answer for Milwaukee. He played great out there even without making threes which is an encouraging sign to see for Miami.
Positive: Nothing – This was a shit effort by Milwaukee. They should be embarrassed of their second half performance.
Negative: Some concerning trends – This is the third straight game where a team was on a losing streak and beat Bucks. They’re now the slumpbusters of the league. Milwaukee is now 0-3 on the second night of a back-to-back, therefore, something needs to change with how they prep with that second day. Milwaukee can’t have an automatic L whenever there’s a back-to-back.
Next Up: Golden State heads to town on Saturday for their only visit of the year. Milwaukee and Golden State don’t really like each other so this should be a ton of fun.
