Bucks Buzz Vol. 59: Milwaukee Doesn’t Give A Damn vs. Denver

Milwaukee Bucks started a crucial two-week stretch where they will play six of their next seven at home starting with Denver Nuggets tonight. The 8th seed in Western Conference was on the back-end of a road back-to-back, therefore, you could think Milwaukee might have an advantage in this game. Not so fast, my friend. Denver came out firing ending the first quarter up 17 points, and at one point, Nuggets led by 31 points. Bucks had some bad losses this season, but this one was their most pathetic.
Player of the Game (Bucks): Khris Middleton – If there’s one takeaway from this game, it’s that Khris Middleton came to play. For some reason unknown to man, he started off the bench, but that didn’t phase Middleton as he scored 21 points with five rebounds and five assists. Middleton also rained in three 3-pointers as well. Hopefully, this is the start of things to come for him.
(Not) Player of the Game (Bucks): Rashad Vaughn – The fearless leader decided to start Vaughn tonight to only play him five minutes. Five fucking minutes. I don’t really care because Vaughn is a trash monster, but c’mon. This is disrespectful for him. It’s like promising sex and only getting a handjob.
Player of the Game (Nuggets): Danilo Gallinari – I realize that Nikola Jokic dropped another triple-double in our faces, but Danilo was the reason Denver pushed out to such a large lead in the first half. He couldn’t be stopped. Gallo finished with 22 points and five rebounds. He looked good tonight, and Milwaukee didn’t come up with an answer before it was too late.
Positive: Brogdon moved to starter – Jason Kidd announced before the game that Malcolm Brogdon would be the starter over Matthew Dellavedova. That’s a great move for the team in the final couple months of the season. Milwaukee needs to see if Brogdon can run with the ones especially with Giannis Antetokounmpo and Middleton.
Negative: The whole damn thing – Not much more to be said about this kind of performance. Milwaukee wonders why there will be no one at the games this weekend, they can point to these games.
Next up: Milwaukee faces their hardest challenge of the 6 of 7 stretch by taking on Los Angeles Clippers for the first time this season. Currently, they are getting waxed by Houston at home. They pose a great challenge for Bucks.
