Bucks-Celtics Two-Minute Report Doesn’t Matter

Milwaukee Bucks-Boston Celtics two minute report came out today from the NBA. For those unfamiliar, it’s a report from the officials who review the final two minute of the fourth and overtime period. What is drawing anger from Bucks fans is there were two fouls that were not actually fouls on Ginanis Antetokounmpo. That made many Bucks fans irate without looking into it further to see Giannis Antetokounmpo should have been called for a 10-second violation at the line six times. All of this transparency proves absolutely nothing. I find it useless to go back and confirm what you knew on Sunday afternoon.
We all thought Antetokounmpo probably should not have been called for the final foul, but we all agreed that the team got away with a similar situation earlier in the overtime where it looks like Giannis went over a guy’s back. There’s no reason to cite the two-minute report and say ‘This game would have been different’ The Bucks received some generous calls too. Let’s not get this twisted. Everyone wants to get mad about Milwaukee getting disrespected but in reality, they’ve received plenty of love from the officials at this point of the season.
What is the purpose of the two minute report? Is it to let everyone know the refs may have fucked up a key moment in the game? That doesn’t mean shit in the longg-term. Bucks fans need to focus on what’s ahead tonight as their basketball team gets ready for Game 2. Shake off the two minute report, and let’s great ready for thi sevening.
