Bucks Should Be Playing on Christmas

This is a special year for television viewing when it comes to Christmas Day. Not only do we get five NBA games, we also get two NFL games. That’s fantastic. Even better, Cleveland Cavaliers-Golden State Warriors start before football gets going in the afternoon. That being said, NBA got the wrong team by having Minnesota Timberwolves instead of Milwaukee Bucks on Christmas. Other than Cavs-Warriors, there’s no team with more of must-see tag than Milwaukee right now.
Imagine the excitement of Bucks on Christmas night. It’s a must-see game for a variety of reasons. The first being to convince your family that professional basketball can be fun and exciting. They’ll bitch about Peter Feigen so you have to come ready with things to combat that which is a greatn number of things. Second, the overall exposure would be great. Giannis Antetokounmpo doesn’t have a shoe deal which blows my mind. How we haven’t seen Nike or adidas step up to the plate with him is stunning. Further, if they played Thunder, the Giannis-Westbrook matchup becomes must-see television.
Bucks only have two games left on national television, but it would not surprise me in the least if we see more of Bucks when ESPN wants to flex out some of their Wednesday-Friday schedule. NBATV begun to show Bucks love as they featured next Friday and Saturday’s game. People want to see more Antetokounmpo and Jabari Parker out there. If Bucks keep winning. the national intrigue will continue to grow.
