Bucks-Sixers Game Review: GA Squared Is Hottest Duo In The NBA

Milwaukee Bucks beat the Philadelphia 76ers, 118-109 last night. Sure, the Philadelphia 76ers did not have half their team. We had Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons, Tobias Harris all out of the game. Still, the Sixers fought their asses off and this game was close until the tail end of the fourth quarter. Giannis Antetokounmpo and Grayson Allen did not let their team lose. More so, Giannis, but Grayson had a lot to do with the Bucks winning this basketball game. Antetokounmpo finished with 31 points and 16 rebounds in another dominating Giannis night especially in the fourth quarter. There was no way Giannis would let the Bucks fall to 4-7. Here’s my take on the game in last night’s review.

Allen deserves a lot of credit too. He had a great game with 25 points and five made threes. He’s been a driving force for the Milwaukee Bucks team this season. If not for him, I’m not sure what Milwaukee’s record is right now. The fact that the Bucks didn’t have to trade a first found draft pick, or a significant player like Jordan Nwora for Allen will forever be fucking incredible. Jon Horst saw Allen playing in a system that was similar to the Bucks and knew he could be a fit. Remember when people thought that Horst was a puppet to ownership? Good times!
The two negative things for the Bucks in this one were the slow start. They gave up 39 points in the first quarter and were down 10 in the early second. After that point, it was smooth sailing but against a team with a fully loaded roster, that might result in a blowout. Also, they need to find lineups that do not feature Giannis and make them work. It’s a major issue right now for this team. They cannot seem to keep leads when Giannis isn’t on the floor, and no, Antetokounmpo should not be playing 48 minutes a night. t
