Milwaukee Bucks currently have a bid in to host the 2023 All-Star Game. It has not been announced whether the Bucks will play host or it’s going to be another city yet some sleuthing led to find out that Milwaukee will be the host in 2023. If that is the case, it’s a great honor for the team. Usually with a new stadium comes the opportunity to host the All-Star Game, but Milwaukee missed out on the 2022 bid which went to Cleveland. If Milwaukee did get the bid, it would mean the All-Star Game is in the Midwest for three straight years after this one.

There is a webiste suggesting that the @Bucks will host all-star festivities in 2023. The website (https://t.co/A9qUmd9bZZ) is not affiliated with the #NBA. A spokeperson for the Bucks tells me there is a bid to host in 2023, but the host city has not been awarded yet.

If the Bucks play host, the city should be hopping that weekend. I can’t imagine what Silk, Texas Jays and others will be charging on Saturday night and the energy in those places. All-Star weekend for the NBA is a big party. Milwaukee can host a party, and they can do whenever the fuck they need to. I’m not worried about Milwaukee being lame. The only ones who are live in Los Angeles, New York or another pomompus area.

We’ll wait on the official word.

Charlie.
