like FOX Sports C.J. Nitkowski. He calls a good game, and he’s been enjoyable when on Jay & Dan’s podcast. But he likes to talk down to those who haven’t played the game. Case in point last night, he criticized the haters of Buck Showalter. Nitkowski had to be that guy who stayed above the fray of the Twitter noise. I’m all for goring against groupthink especially on Twitter, but that was a fucking stupid time to do it. As we said last night, Zach Britton is absolutely incredible. Not to mention, the Orioles pen has some talent in there. It’s a one-game playoff, it’s not game one of a seven game series. Britton needs to work in that situation, and Showalter failed the team.

Also the ‘nerds’ comment.. you’re damn right. Baseball is more math and science than any other sport. I agree there should be a balance with results on the field, in-game strategy, etc, but that stat need to show today.
