CFB Bowl Pick: No Cares About Hawaii

If you had to pick out the most meaningless bowl of them all, you would probably land on Hawaii as one of them. Before the pitchforks come out, I realize that these games are important to the kids and mean a lot. I get that. But this is on Christmas Eve night when most people will be with family or at church. Some degenerates might throw this game into a parlay with Bengals-Texans, yet not many eyes will be on Middle Tennessee State versus Hawaii.
Last two days, I made my picks on Twitter after a hot start. I should have seen the Idaho train coming at my big dumb face so we lost that one. Eastern Michigan and Navy both covered. I didn’t pick a winner but I would go 1-1 there. We lost Ohio at 0-2 in a bad beat only because they turned the ball over a ton and settled for field goals. We’re 6-5 in both straight up and against the spread.
Hawaii Bowl: Hawaii vs Middle Tennessee State (-7) 7:00 pm ESPN – It’s amazing to see Blue Raiders favored by seven points in a home game for Hawaii. Is that enough evidence to say Hawaii might not be that good? There’s isn’t much to like besides the homefield advantage. Their defense is just okay, and Middle Tennessee brings a huge offense led by I’Tavius Mathers who rushed for 1500 yards and they get back Brock Stockstill from injury when two of their losses happened this year. Blue Raiders roll in the second half. MTSU 42-28
