Christian Yelich Goes for Manny Machado’s Throat
Oh my. Christian Yelich is one of the best young stars in Major League Baseball. After he takes home the National League MVP, it’s likely that he will see more endorsements come his way even in Milwaukee. He decided to unload the cannon on Manny Machado last night after the Brewers lost to the Dodgers, 2-1, in 13 innings. Machado had another incident where he made a dirty play by kicking Jesus Aguilar in the leg at first place. Yelich said ‘Dirty play by a dirty player’ which is calm but then added as he left talking to the media, ‘Fuck that motherfucker.’ I absolutely love it.

Yelich added — and this is legit, I'm not making it up — "F**k that motherf***er.”

This is a series, and a budding of a rivalry. Machado needs to be a Chicago Cub or St. Louis Cardinal next year. We need more Machado hate. I cannot remember a player being more hatable in a series. I think back to the Bucks in 2001 with Allen Iverson, or Rik Smits had some moments too. Machado is enemy number one for Brewers fans and players. Good for Yelich sparing no nice words about him. Baseball needs this type of shit. This is straight out of the NBA playbook. With the series at 2-2, we’ll see if there are any dustups in the game.
