Corey Ray Absolutely Murdered a Baseball
Do people get fired up for Spring Training highlights? I feel like they have to be really good to be featured, right? This is one of those moments. Milwaukee Brewers outfielder and Minor League Player of the Year Corey Ray has been hitting rockets out of the ballpark in his first few games of Spring Training. Usually, the first few weeks of Spring Training features more of the young guys then the older players get their shot as the season gets closer to the season. Ray is taking advantage of his opportunity. He drilled a complete moonshot out of the ballpark yesterday. I didn’t know he had this type of power.

Brian Anderson didn’t realize the magnitude of this dinger until the ball kept traveling out of the stadium. Craig Counsell said after the game that he only has seen Prince Fielder hit one like that in his 15 years which is high praise. Not sure if Ray has a roster spot on this Brewers team, but he will make a push for the spot that Ben Gamel is currently occupying as the fourth outfielder. Brewers moved guys up and down last year consistently. I will not be surprised if we see Ray a few times in the big leagues.
Charlie.
