Dick Butkus Roasts His Nephew For Getting Promoted By The Packers

Dick Butkus has been on Twitter for a week. It is one of the great things that has happened with Twitter in the past few months. Now, you could say ‘Charlie, nothing great happens on Twitter.’ Yes, true. But Butkus has been unfiltered and having fun on there. It reminds me of Keith Hernandez, the former New York Mets player, who hopped on a couple of summers ago. Then Hernandez gave his opinions on politics, and people were like ‘we’re good here.’ Butkus roasted his nephew, Luke, who is taking over as the offensive line coach from Adam Stenavich. Dick still hates Green Bay.
shout out to my nephew luke the new o line coach for the packers
so great to see you moving up with an expansion team— Dick Butkus (@thedickbutkus) January 31, 2022
People who get mad about Butkus roasting the Packers have a big dump in their pants. This is fun! This is what the rivalry is all about, people. We need this type of energy from Bears fans, Vikings fans, Lions fans. Yesterday, I said that I felt bad making fun of Lions fans for cheering on Stafford then realized later on in the day, what the hell am I doing here? It is very sad and speaks to where the Lions are as an organization.
Butkus is happy for his nephew, I’m sure, but he probably wishes he coached with another team.
Charlie.
