Ed Sheeran, Noted Christian Yelich Fan

Last night, Ed Sheeran played at Miller Park. People loved to make the joke that Sheeran was the consolation prize for the World Series. In reality, that’s not entirely true. Sure, the concert gets pushed back if the Brewers make the World Series, but with Game 2 in Boston, it’s not like they would have been playing in Milwaukee tonight. Regardless, Sheeran decided to pay tribute to place he performed at last night by wearing a Christian Yelich jersey for his encore. That Eddie Sheeran knows how to pander to the crowd.

From the Journal Sentinel review, it sounds like Sheeran put on a banger of a show. One of the things that I don’t forget is how I saw Sheeran at the Eagles Ballroom years ago when he first got started as a musician. It was my first real day on the job working radio, but a good time doing it. I remember not being a huge fan of Sheeran when he first came out but man, he rocked the stage. It’s good to see he’s still performing at a high level.
Charlie.
