Falcons Pulverize Packers & Advance To Super Bowl

Welp. Not much to say after this game. Green Bay Packers went down to Georgia and all they received was an ass-kicking. Falcons destroyed Packers with a resounding 44-21 victory looking like the best team on the field by a long shot. Atlanta’s offense made the patchwork secondary of Green Bay’s look silly. Their young and emerging defense gave Green Bay enough fits to let their offense build a lead. It’s disappointing to say the least, but it’s clear Packers ran out of gas. Mike McCarthy said it and I believe it. Winning this many games in a row is very hard and it’s amazing Green Bay got this far.
Not too much to take away from the game itself. We can always wonder what this game looks like if Mason Crosby knocks in a 41-yard field goal and Aaron Ripkowski doesn’t get stripped at the 10 yard line. Packers could have made this game, but in reality, Falcons were too much on offense. Julio Jones decided tonight’s game was the the night to declare himself the ‘Best Wide Receiver on the planet.’ It’s going to be really fun to watch Julio go up against New England secondary.
And another season will go without a Super Bowl. It’s incredible that we got to watch Packers football until January 22nd, 2017. I said to someone last night “At Thanksgiving, was your family talking about a Super Bowl run? No, you were wanting to fire somebody.” It’s amazing how far Packers came this season.
Go Pack Go.
