Feel For Falcons Fans This Morning

I’m trying to hard to picture what things must be like for Atlanta Falcons fans this morning. We can make jokes about Falcons fans not having this strong base, but there are still fans out there. I have to think most of them are not working today and still trying to pick themselves off the ground. This is a rough one that will stay with you for awhile. Falcons fans might not be over this game by middle of October. As a Packer fan, the last loss of the season played a part in next season’s struggles, and that could be the case here.
Driving around downtown Atlanta, seeing no signs of civil unrest. A better sports town would be setting things on fire, amirite?

This is an interesting thread of how Atlanta took the loss. Most people didn’t want to drown their sorrows because they were likely drunk already with intital happiness then nervous drinking the rest of the way. Patriots did it in the same dull and stabby way the Seahawks did to Packers in 2014. It’s probably one of the worst losses a fan base will endure in all of sports. Cubs losing in Game 7 might have been worse, but right now, this is the tops. Fans are going to ask themselves over and over again, why did Kyle Shanahan get cute and pass the ball when they all they needed was a field goal?
