Game 1 Zero Yasmani Grandal Will Catch Game 3

Yasmani Grandal is one of the better hitting catchers in baseball. He will be a free agent next offseason, and some think that the Milwaukee Brewers might have some interest in him. That said, fans will have to be turned on to that idea after his abysmal Game 1 where he had two errors, a passed ball and cost the team the game in a lot of ways. Los Angeles will go back with Grandal in Game 3 as Dodgers manager Dave Roberts says starting pitcher Walker Buehler and Grandal have a good repetitore with each other. Milwaukee must take advantage and get in the Yasmanian Devil’s head early on.
Yasmani Grandal will start tomorrow, Dave Roberts said. The team likes his chemistry with Walker Buehler.

Milwaukee gets on base early in this game, you can guarantee they’re going to try and run on Grandal. They need to apply the pressure early on to make him feel uncomfortable early in this ball game. He can be a factor with his bat though. Grandal has great power and loves hitting at Dodgers Stadium, therefore, it’s not unreasonable that he could factor into a Dodger run or two. Yet he could also contribute to the Brewers scoring output as well. Roberts is showing trust in his catcher and if he screws up again, my guess is Grandal will become a bench player for the rest of the series.
