What a win by the Milwaukee Bucks. After getting embarrassed on Friday night, Milwaukee bounced back to get a huge victory against Washington on the road including a massive effort by Giannis Antetokounmpo and Eric Bledsoe especially in the fourth quarter. They haven’t won in D.C. since 2013 before last night. Washington and Milwaukee will likely be jostling for playoff position for the next few months, and head-to-head wins are going to prove to be important in what is a tight Eastern Conference

One of the best fourth quarters of the season
We might look back at the season and reflect what Milwaukee did in the fourth quarter at Washington. They outscored the Wizards, 28-18 as they turned up the defense when it mattered the most. Giannis hit some major shots in the clutch, which hasn’t been the case at different points of the season, and we should all be very excited. Bledsoe hit a huge three that helped Milwaukee separate themselves late. All three of the KEG played great.

Let’s talk about Delly’s clothesline
Maybe I’m a biased Bucks fan, but I’m not sure Matthew Dellavedova deserved to be thrown out for that foul. It’s a flagrant foul, and he went way too damn high, although, I still don’t think it warranted an ejection. This is a classic case of where a slowed down replay makes it look way worse than it actually was in real speed. If Delly were to get suspended, it would be a shame.

Malcolm Brogdon moves to the starting lineup
Interesting thing happened last night when Jason Kidd went with Malcolm Brogdon over Tony Snell for the other guard spot. We haven’t seen that this season, but it looked pretty good from a team standpoint even if Brogdon did struggle a bit with his shot. Snell isn’t a player that’s been good off the bench for his career, but it didn’t show yesterday with 10 points and a PER of +15

Milwaukee stays on the road and heads to Indiana on Monday night. This will be a little different Pacers team than they saw on Wednesday as Victor Oladipo returned from injury. He made a difference on Saturday night leading to a massive blowout of Chicago, 125-86. With Milwaukee’s struggles against shooting guards this year, it could be a tough one.
