Giannis Dunks Over Jabari… Hate To See It

Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jabari Parker were tied together through the first parts of their careers. Before Parker’s knee injury, he believed himself to be the alpha dog on the Bucks team with Giannis being his wingman. That didn’t happen. Parker’s knee injuries led to to Antetokounmpo transforming into a dominant player, and when Parker returned the last time, Giannis was the alpha and everyone else fell into place. This bothered Parker whether he said it out loud or not. He always imagined himself as the man.
The two met on Wednesday night for the second time this season. Giannis and Jabari both went off. Antetokounmpo with a season-high 36 points while Parker continued his hot streak with 24 points. But Giannis got the best of him with a powerful dunk right on him in the third quarter. As Ted Davis said on the broadcast, this had some pepper on it.

I don’t feel bad for Jabari Parker because he’s on a rival and playing well. I know he wouldn’t fit on this Bucks roster. It’s fun to see him play at a high level even if Antetokounmpo finds a way to dunk on you.
Charlie.
