Giannis Featured in Nike’s Olympic Ad

Nike rolled out a new ad campaign for the Olympics as one would imagine they would do. The mega brand rolled out a digital ad featuring Giannis Antetokounmpo as the only athlete in a major sport featured. Allison Felix, United States track star, also made an appearance, but none of the other major four sports had a player in there. It was just Giannis. The ad itself is a little weird as it’s a minute of people breathing heavily with inspirational music behind it. If I wanted to hear people breathe loudly, I’d record myself. This is a little old, but Paul Henning found it yesterday, thus, posting it today since I hadn’t seen it.
In every step. With every breath. #airmovesyou

The real question is when will Giannis get himself his own Nike ad? You have to think with Kyrie, Paul George and him that they are the cornerstones of the Nike brand at this point excluding LeBron James who has his own thing going on. We patiently await what the first shoe from Giannis will look like. My guess is we’ll see that in the offseason, and they’ll go on sale around the start of the season.
