Giannis Gets Fouled Hard Again & Again No One Gets Kicked Out

Giannis Antetokounmpo is the best basketball player in the world. He is also a mammoth of a man. Because of that, there are situations where he gets fouled hard. It is always scary when it happens, and the first thing you’re screaming internally is ‘Get up, get up.’ In the past couple of weeks, Bucks fans have looked closer at hard fouls after the Grayson Allen drama that the NBA and ESPN frankly put us through and calling out when fouls should be deemed flagrant twos. Last night, Montrezl Harrell came down hard on Antetokounmpo and this looks way worse than what Allen did
PLEASE explain to me how this is less dirty than the Grayson foul.
Grayson got a flagrant 2, ejection, and suspension. Trez just gets a flagrant 1. Ridiculous.
Once again, the only reason Grayson's foul got attention was because it was Grayson Allen. pic.twitter.com/ejoS3r0g5K

This is a flagrant two. I get the idea that he’s making somewhat of a basketball play, but if we’re using Allen as the baseline, it is grounds for ejection and suspension. As Nathan points out, it’s abundantly clear that Grayson is getting punished for his name, nothing else. It’s a shame. This likely means that we’re going to see hard fouls against Giannis and other Bucks’ players that look similar to this, and we will raise hell when there are no calls. I mean, look at this Nerlens Noel one from Friday.

This is never changing in the Bucks’ favor.
