Giannis Goes Off For 50 As His Scoring Tear Continues

Every superlative has been said about Giannis Antetokounmpo. He is one of the best to ever do it. That said, people are discounting the season that Giannis Antetokounmpo is currently having. Giannis went off last night for 50 points. He also had 47 a week ago against Los Angeles. Yes, there is a Phoenix game where he struggled, but still, he’s on a tear. These numbers are absurd. They warrant Giannis to be at the top of the list when it comes to the MVP. But somehow, it’s not being talked enough about. The man leads the league in scoring with playing the 54th most minutes. What a night for the Greek Freak against Indiana carrying the Bucks to victory.
Giannis recorded his 3rd career 50-point game in the regular season, the 2nd-most in Bucks history. He trails only Kareem Abdul-Jabbar who has 10. (via @ESPNStatsInfo)

Antetokounmpo is doing otherworldly things out there. There should be a collective ‘oh shit’ around the league. Milwaukee knows that they have the best player in the game, and when the chips are down (Playoffs), Giannis is doing to come through for them. He already showed it last playoffs, but the confidence and swagger he has this year are off the charts. The guy will be a problem for whoever they face in the playoffs. Yes, the Eastern Conference is the best conference in the NBA and will be a war yet Giannis has the best weapons.

Giannis has one more game before the All-Star Break which isn’t much of a break for the Greek Freak. He will do the skills competition with his brothers on Saturday night then the game on Sunday. They take on the Philadelphia 76ers who just got waxed last night. It will be a good measuring stick game for both teams.
