Giannis & O.J. Mayo Together Again This Weekend

Over the weekend, Giannis Antetokounmpo and O.J. Mayo got together for a workout. The former Bucks guard Mayo has been out of the league since the 2016 season. The league suspended Mayo for a drug violation that would keep him out of the NBA until this year. He played for Puerto Rico after going on a spiritual journey in Africa. Mayo appears ready to try out for a roster spot after Giannis’ comments about him.
It was great working out and catching up with my guy Juice today. He looks good! #OJMayo

Mayo will likely not be with the Bucks as their roster is nearly full with 19 of 20 training camp roster. There are other NBA teams that haven’t filled their rosters like the Bucks, therefore, Mayo could make an impact somewhere. He’s a good three-point shooter, and every story you hear about him as a Bucks player was he truly showed leadership. I wonder if Jason Kidd’s head coaching regime muting some of that talk and putting out negative stories in the local media. Mayo is only 30 years old, so, there’s some juice left in his tank.
