Inside The NBA Tackles Bucks Locker Room Drama

There aren’t too many sports takes where almost everyone comes to an agreement. But one is Inside The NBA is one of the best sports pregame and postgame show that will ever exist in all of sports. They have so much fun but Inside The NBA crew, this time it was Ernie Johnson, Charles Barkley and Shaquille O’Neal, can tackle serious issues. They took on Milwaukee Bucks locker room issues when Jabari Parker explained what happened in a team meeting then got benched for the first quarter of the Miami Heat game.

Given what Chuck and Shaq said, they’re right for the most part. Parker should have kept his mouth shut. Charles Gardner who broke the story explained the other day how it all went down, and it seemed very off-the-cuff from Parker. And it’s clear to me, Bucks veterans made it clear to not speak with the media of what happened in there. Barkley and O’Neal bristled at the idea that the ‘team’ called for the suspension, but my guess is Jason Terry probably made that call. Terry is a long-time vet whose been in team meetings like this one many times before. He likely told Kidd that this was necessary.
Do I think Terry is a bad guy for that? Not at all. I’ve come around on Terry. He always looks for Giannis Antetokounmpo and Parker like their his little brothers on the court. And sometimes, your younger bro gets out of line and lesson needs to be taught. Bucks forward responded nicely on Monday with a 28 point night.
Barkley saying Bucks should be better is accurate given their late-game malfunctions early on this season, but c’mon. This team sees 21-23 without Khris Middleton, they’re doing jumping jacks in October.
