Jace Sternberger’s Twitter Chirp Game is Elite

Jace Sternberger is already a favorite of mine in 2020. The hype around him is building from Packers fans, and he has a chance to be a very talented player for the Packers. He showed some flashes last year. Packers will give him the keys this year to be the starting tight end. One thing he is already good at is putting dudes in lockers on Twitter. You may remember Sternberger dunked on Geoff Schwartz after the draft who tried to make this dramatic tweet about Rodgers and Jordan Love. Yesterday, he threw it down on a guy who thought drafting Josiah Degrura meant he wouldn’t play much.
We have this thing called 12/13 personnel. Multiple TE’s at once. Crazy stuff https://t.co/WwKDlUxpCE

I love this tweet. First of all, he brings in the personnel names like he’s Warren Sharp talking to Pardon My Take. Then makes the point that there might be two tight ends on the field at the same time. Ian seems to think we’re still running the Mike McCarthy offense next year where tight ends don’t exist. One thing that rose to the top this offseason is how Green Bay probably will not use much three wide receiver sets this fall. They’re going to doing much more with multiple tight ends, fullbacks, running backs. West Coast offense is back baybeeeeeeee.
