Jeff Fisher’s Weird Strange Rams Trip Ends

In a wild turn of events, Los Angeles Rams coach Jeff Fisher is the first coach fired from the 2016 NFL season. He gets let go after a week of dysfunction through the media, and an embarrassing home loss to Atlanta, 49-14. Fisher gets relieved of his duties after having seven million dollars left on his contract including some unknown about if he did get a secret extension before the season started. It’s likely this is the end of Fisher as a head football coach in the National Football League.
He shouldn’t have been the coach of this team when they moved to Los Angeles. He really shouldn’t have got his stank on Jared Goff. Now, a new coach gets a first overall pick that’s the supposed to be L.A.’s guy for the next half decade to come. Are we sure said coach will want that? Guys like Josh McDaniels and Kyle Shanahan might relish in that opportunity. But some might wonder if Goff will fit their system. Rams deciding to ride with Fisher and trade up for Goff was a reckless decision. Regardless, Los Angeles should look for an offensive mind, and they have deep pockets plus the allure of La La Land. We won’t address the Harbaugh rumors as they are rubbish.
Fisher doesn’t get one more 7-9 season. Rams look like they are going 5-11, which isn’t an encouraging number considering they don’t have their pick next season. Rams had to draft a quarterback because they were moving to L.A. and couldn’t sell the team with Case Keenum.
Charlie.
