Jesus Aguilar Fires Warning Shot to Cubs

Milwaukee Brewers get a chance to play for the division title on Monday afternoon at Wrigley Field. It’s an incredible opportunity considering where the Brewers were in the standings in August and September. No one really gave this team a shot to do it. We talked about the race to 93 wins in late August, but who knew they would need two more? Anyways, it’s going to be an awesome atmosphere at Wrigley this afternoon, and Jesus Aguilar was feeling himself after the game. He fired off a warning shot to the Cubs. I absolutely love it.

Some might overreact and say that’s ‘not the way to do it’ or some dumb shit like that. Personally, I feel it’s fine for Zeus to come out like this after a big 11-0 win to finish the year. Brewers are playing some of their best baseball to finish off the year. They went 19-7 in the month of September. They lost one series after August 13th. That’s also the attitude and swagger of this Brewers team. They do not fear anyone including the Chicago Cubs. Yes, Jose Quintana has been the Brewers’ daddy, but at the same time, they did get to him once this year. It can happen again. Let’s go.
