Last night, Los Angeles Rams faced off against the Minnesota Vikings. This game was a must-win for the Vikings. They were 1-1-1 for the season, and with a road trip to Philadelphia on the schedule next week, this game mattered more to Minnesota. Los Angeles did not give a shit. They steamrolled Minnesota with a dominating 38-31 performance with an amazing game from Jared Goff where he established himself as one of the top quarterbacks in the league. As a fan of a team who plays in the NFC, Rams scare me in the worst way. They’re easily the top contender in the NFC, and the top contender in football.

This is one of the many examples of what Goff did on Thursday night. Sure, their defense did not look stellar, but they stood up when it mattered the most in this game. The other thing about the Rams… They’re a blast to watch. Like they’re so much fun. It feels dirty as a fan of another NFC team to enjoy watching the Rams as much as I did last night. It’s almost like I’m cheating on the Packers. Rest assured, I’m still a Packers fan, but I’m watching the Rams every chance I get on primetime. They’re featured a bunch, and I’m guessing we’ll see them a lot more in the years to come.
