Let’s Build Our Ideal Modern Packers Offense

There is nothing hotter in the streets than putting together ideal lineups. Those things are engagement bait and everyone takes the cheese. We haven’t taken the cheese at SnoTapWI headquarters until now. Last night, Joe Kipp of Packers Wire, put out an ideal modern Packers offense for 10 dollars. I love this idea and am willing to participate in this one. We should attack this looking at each line and explaining why we’re going with that player.

Quarterback: Aaron Rodgers – This is the no-brainer of all no-brainers of the history of sports. Rodgers is an easy choice here at the three dollar position. There is no way you can go with Brett Hundley or Matt Flynn. If you do, you’re dumber than a box of rocks. If this was 95 to the present day, does Rodgers get the three-dollar position or Brett Favre?
Running Back: James Starks – Personally, I think this is an easy choice too. Starks had some good moments in his career with the Packers. Aaron Jones is good, but he is not on the three-dollar level of the others. The same goes for Eddie Lacy at the two-dollar spot.
Wide Receiver 1: Donald Driver – Here’s the thing, Driver is priced way too low. I’m not the biggest Driver fan, but he had a great career with the Packers. Jordy Nelson, Greg Jennings, and Driver are all two or three dollar guys. Don’t sleep on the career that Driver had on the Packers.
Wide Receiver 2: Davante Adams – This is a great choice by me. With taking Driver, this frees up Davante Adams. Playing by the rules and going line-by-line, I would take Adams. Although if you had to go with either Adams or Nelson, the answer is Jordy with his relationship with Rodgers.
Tight End: Jared Cook – With my last two dollars, it is Jared Cook. This is the second-easiest choice of this group. Richard Rodgers isn’t good enough to be chosen for this offense. Jermichael Finley is properly priced because the Packers have shit tight ends in the last 10 years, but Finley isn’t worth three dollars.
My Packers lineup is as followed… Rodgers-Starks-Driver-Adams-Cook. That’s a winner if I’ve ever seen one.
Charlie.
