Let’s Count How Many Times Cubs Media & Players Are Wrong

Chicago Cubs are a team of bullies. They are led by a manager who thinks games are more about himself than the team. They never want to admit to people that the Brewers are a rival. They want to shrug off those notions because it’s fucking impossible to have two rivals in the same division apparently. They act like Milwaukee is a third world country compared to Chicago. The media and players go out of their way to embarrass themselves on a routine basis. Therefore, we’re going to count the ways just off yesterday.
Hamels: "I know the rivalries I’ve had in the past. You can definitely feel it. When you have a majority of Cubs fans in the stands, I don’t know if that’s a rivalry yet. I’ve been in rivalries. They’re not going to like me for that comment, but you can look at the ticket sales"

1. Cole Hamels says ‘Brewers aren’t a real rivalry’ – Cole Hamels needs to know that the Brewers’ attendance with and without the Cubs influence is the exact same, find a new slant. Yes those fans travel well, but those fans barely knew baseball before 2015. It was just a team their grandparents liked in the 50’s so they’re a fan too but still love the Packers! (FYI: Fuck these people).

3. Apparently, the Brewers are poors – Yes, he should be fellating every Cubs fans that walks through the door. You’re right. That’s exactly what should be happening here. Idiot. Brewers are currently 22nd in payroll. It’s right below the league average. The only reason it’s that low is due to the fact they have many young players.
Since 2015- The Cubs are 44-27 against the Brewers. Went to the National League Championship twice. Won a World Series… and will likely have 3 NL Central Titles here soon. Yeah, no rivalry here. #WrigleyNorth

4. 2015 and beyond = Not a real rivalry! – This is a Cubs fan as part of the Wisconsin media (PS: Odd look to be a brazen Cubs fans in
a place where you’re supposed to talk about the Brewers but hey, it’s not my place.) Sample sizes are the best. You can alter a sample size to prove your point. Let’s see how this is done, kids. 2015 and beyond… Oh so like the two years included where the Brewers were awful? Since 2001, the teams are tied at 71 a piece, you see how this works? All-time the Cubs are 11 games up over the Brewers. We could do the same for Marquette-Wisconsin…
Stay tuned for another edition of Cubs and their media members getting things wrong.
