Local Bucks Reporter & Bucks Currently Feuding on Twitter

Sometimes, you just need something on Twitter to jumpstart the day. Gery Woelfel of Woelfel’s Press Box and the Racine Journal Times speculated on the Milwaukee Bucks preseason schedule. Woelfel wondered if they would playing Jabari Parker and the Chicago Bulls to open the Fiserv Forum. For those who are not familiar like their local reporter, Bucks released their preseason schedule last Tuesday. Bucks doing what official accounts on social media do at times, they reached out to let him know the schedule was already released last week.
Hello Gery! We know you don't follow us on Twitter, but we announced our preseason schedule on July 31st. Here it is: https://t.co/zFZ88XkUFL

@gerywoelfel, well this seems counter-productive… 🤔 pic.twitter.com/gwY74QQdFp

Bucks are playing the Bulls to open The Forum featuring Parker. But instead of the reporter admitting his fault, he blocked the official account on Twitter. It’s an odd move honestly. I’m unsure why he would do that to a team he reports on every day. Part of being a journalist on social media is following the team account, right? Maybe I don’t know, but I feel like being part of the job. Assuming Woelfel took offense to Bucks making jokes on Twitter which is a bummer. It’s the middle of August, have a little fun?
Hopefully, the two can come to an agreement at some point in the year.
Charlie.
