Lorenzo Cain Catches Cubs In The Same Defensive Mistake

Lorenzo Cain is a baserunning savant. The dude is so smart on the basepaths. He knows how to navigate through different difficult opportunities. One of his best moments ever was getting in a rundown with the Chicago Cubs that found Milwaukee to have two guys on base versus one. It was hilarious at that time. Well, he did against the Cubs again. Pulled his version of ‘Oops I Did It Again’ to Chicago. This is fantastic from Cain and actually led to the first run of the game and season for the Brewers. Just like Cain ran it back, the Brewers’ social media team also ran it back.
If Lo can do it again, we figured we should, too. pic.twitter.com/ClWsUnLS5a

How can the Cubs let this happen again? Like I get it if Cain did this to another team, but the same with a very similar mistake is so embarrassing for Chicago. Am I happy to see the Cubs screw this up yet again? Of fucking course. Nothing makes me happier than seeing screwups from our flatland friends. Cain had a great day with three hits and a run driven in. I’m not sure why Cain is still hitting low in the order, but Craig Counsell never does normal things.
