Marquette’s “Pray” Video Gets Anniversary Update

Marquette had an intro video titled “Pray” for the 2008-2009 season. It’s widely regarded as one of the best pump-up intro videos you’ll ever see in Wisconsin and maybe the country, I’m not sure. It’s awesome. I suggest you watch it again as it’s below the copy here. Marquette redid it for their 100 year anniversary of their basketball team. I got chills when I heard the lingo again. Marquette used some of their most famous players to play part in the Pray video. They said it’s ‘Version 1.0’ which means we could get one with the whole Marquette roster or maybe other notable Marquette alums play a part (Jae Crowder? Jimmy Butler? Dwyane Wade?). I like it, but I feel like we could do a little better. Hate to be that guy, but I don’t have the same sort of feels after the 2008 version. I’m sure it will grow on me.
