Mets Move Tebow Circus To Florida

New York Mets are promoting a player to another level of minor league baseball with only a .222 average. That seems odd, right? This player isn’t a stellar outfielder either, rather, he’s Tim Tebow and New York Mets are exploiting him for every single penny they can. I don’t hate the hustle, but I feel bad for the former Heisman Trophy winner as he’s being paraded around the country like a show pony (Shouts to Lil Sebastian). Hopefully, Tebow is self-aware enough to realize what Mets are doing to him.
The Mets organization is having a rough year. They swept San Francisco on the road over the weekend, but that’s been their lone bright spot for the last several weeks. Noah Syndergaard has been hurt, same with Matt Harvey along with others, and the shitshow antics have not stopped. Tebow isn’t someone that’s getting rewarded for his solid play. Instead, the St. Lucie owners are seeking opportunity to drive their gate and add some revenue that they wouldn’t have without him.
I’m not going to be mad that Tebow got called up for the wrong reasons, but I am going to be a little sad when it comes to him as a person. He can’t enjoy being trotted around like this, right? Maybe he has no issue as that’s been his life since leaving college.
All of the bluehairs and Murph can enjoy Tebowmania in Florida.
Charlie.
