Mike Zagurski is My Spirit Animal

Every now and again, a legend comes along, and all we can do is appreciate him or her. I present to you Milwaukee Brewers reliever Mike Zagurski. He’s up from Colorado Springs, and it’s the first time he’s been in the big leagues since 2013. The guy is an absolute unit. Like I have no idea how he’s a baseball player or a professional athlete. This guy hammered down Miller High Life’s (No light beers like The Joynt), chicken wings and loves restaurants with bottomless fries. All I can I do is appreciate this greatest.

Apparently, this guy is not well-liked by other teams around the league. He wasn’t a very good pitcher back in the day, but he’s now 35 with stints in the minors plus Japan. I love the journeyman story. Baseball and Hockey are the two sports where it blows my mind that there are guys in their mid-30’s still trying to make it to the big leagues or make it back. You have to appreciate the hustle.
