Mike Zimmer Shrugs Off Aaron Rodgers’ Performance

Consider Vikings-Packers underway this week as we’re done talking about the Bears-Packers. Vikings come to down for an early season showdown that could springboard either team into the division driver seat. It’s unknown whether Aaron Rodgers will play on Sunday due to his knee injury he suffered on Sunday against Chicago. Rodgers had an all-time performance, but the head coach of the Vikings did not watch it. In fact, he went full hardadd and said he doesn’t own a TV which is a ridiculous thing to say in 2018.
ZIMMER: on Rodgers' performance last night, "I don't have a TV, so I didn't watch it."

What a wild way to response to a simple question. He clearly doesn’t want to talk about and used a lie to cover it up. At times, that’s what we do to get out of having conversation. Just make up a ridiculous lie that cannot be challenged, and people tend to leave you alone. I’m not surprised Zimmer wanted to move right past Rodgers. He wants to talk about his team. That said when he watches the tape of Rodgers doing his thing, I’m sure he’ll be just a bit neverous.
