Milwaukee Bucks’ G-League Team Had a Dunk Show Last Night

The Wisconsin Herd is in full swing. They’re the Bucks’ G-League team, and the team isn’t too shabby. Sometimes when you have a great team, like the Milwaukee Bucks, your minor league teams are not that good. It speaks to the coaches that Milwaukee wants to bring in, and the player development by the Bucks. Last night, there were two major dunks by the Herd. One from second-round draft pick Sandro Mamukelashvili. The other is from Rayjon Tucker. Both were highlight-reel dunks. I would say SportsCenter Top 10 but I don’t think anyone does that anymore.
Mamu looks like an airplane set to take off.

The Herd are now 6-0. They came from behind yesterday to beat the Windy City Bulls. In terms of which dunk was better, my vote has to go for Tucker. He timed that perfectly. You can see him in the background getting ready to take flight then he does and throws it down. Also, it was a significant part of the game. The Herd was up by three points then you had the dunk from Tucker to put them up five with about two minutes left to play.
Huge night for Mamu as well with 28 total points. He was feeling it. That is a good sign. While this doesn’t mean he can play rotational minutes in the NBA yet, it is an encouraging sign that he is not struggling in the G-League early on. Jordan Nwora moved down and played last night where he got 22 points. It seems Nwora played his way out of the rotation for the Bucks, so, these minutes will be vital for him if the Bucks need to lean on him again.
