Move Over Ohtani, Brent Suter is Launching Dingers

Baseball is a weird sport. There are some games where weird things happen from the start of the game to the end of the game. Tuesday was one of those nights at Miller Park. Wade Miley goes down in the first inning leading to Brent Suter having to start in an emergency role. Brewers had already got two runs off the two-time Cy Young award winning pitcher Corey Kluber before Suter stepped to the plate and sent a homer to deep center field. That home run proved to be the difference in the game.

It’s not like Suter lined down the right field line for a homer. He smashed a drive to deep centerfield that went 433′ off Kluber. I texted our SnoTap group chat about this very play and Murph goes ‘That is fake.’ Truly, it felt like something you saw out of The Show, not actual baseball. As for the game, it’s one of the best wins of the season for the Brewers. Good to see them bounce back after Sunday’s debacle. Hopefully, they can get Carrasco this afternoon.
Charlie.
