NASCAR Is Bringing Cup Series To Road America in 2021
I’ve never been a big NASCAR fan. When the pandemic happened and NASCAR was the only spot for awhile, I gave it a whirl. I actually had some good hits gambling on it, but I’ll be honest I didn’t enjoy watching the races that much. The only time it got interesting was the final 30 laps of the race. I felt like those people who say the NBA is only good in the fourth quarter. That said, I’m always going to pump up the State of Wisconsin. And it is very cool that on the Fourth of July, no less, there will be a NASCAR Cup race at Road America in Elkhart Lake. This is the first NASCAR cup race in Wisconsin.
Now, this begs the question, do you attend if offered? Let’s say things are back to normal by next year’s Fourth of July, and I would only say no because of the date (My mom’s birthday). But if gifted the tickets, I would probably check some part of it. Road America is supposed to be a great deal of fun, and the setup is great there as well. The cool thing about NASCAR is those guys race every week. It’s not like golf where they pick and choose the tournaments they’re playing in. NASCAR racers are all in every week, no matter the course. You know you’re seeing everyone out there.
Wisconsin was ready to host so many things this year and things went haywire. Hopefully, 2021 is different.
